![]() ![]() This would be much easier if the hidden field’s value was available to the Ajax Event.Īs a sidenote… this method also works better for me for visible fields… since I do not need to do an sc_ajax_refresh() … it works much faster than reloading the whole grid an checking the current visible fields’ value in side the ajax event. Similarly, ScriptCase will automatically supply an edit and a delete button for each row in an editable grid view (form) application. ScriptCase will then automatically display that button for each row in the grid. ![]() In those settings we can define how our target grid will be displayed. A grid application can have an edit button for each row when you link the grid to a form application of the same table. ![]() Hint for the link: In this option we will inform a message that will be displayed when the mouse cursor is over the button with the link. Sc_exec_sql($sql) // execute the needed sql statement Close the form after an insert: Choosing the option Yes, the window will be closed after doing the insert of a register. If (strpos( = '' // update the toggle button Then, Inside the Ajax event, instead of looking for my ‘hidden column’s’ value, I’m using strpos to search for the alt tag’s value, and execute whatever code I need (usually toggling the hidden field), and updating my button’s image. Did I do something wrong or is this a bug Thank you. It works in the development environment but it doesn’t work in the production environment. So I can hide Add new button in the form. I uncheck the option Enables the buttons New and Include within the Form. Since my button has an image, I set an ‘alt’ tag to whatever I want. My Form link with the grid as normal, and 'Add New ' button shown on the grid. I first use OnRecord to set my “active/inactive” button to the correct state according to my ‘hidden’ value (the hidden field IS available to OnRecord). I’ve found at least a ‘dirty’ workaround… In this option we can configure the layout of the buttons that will be displayed in the applications used in the project. Unfortunately, I want this in a grid, not on a form…. ![]()
